Christie’s International Real Estate Group, the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate serving New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, announced Yann Rousseau as the latest addition to their agent team.
Rousseau joins Christie’s with more than 12 years of international real estate experience and a distinguished leadership background. Rousseau elected to join Christie’s International Real Estate Group to further expand his global advisory practice within the Christie’s network. While he will be based out of their flagship office located at 1 Rockefeller Plaza, he will also be associated with the brokerage’s New Jersey entity.
Prior to his brokerage career, Rousseau worked in the development and humanitarian sectors, collaborating with organizations including the United Nations, the French government, the Seychelles government and private-sector partners. After relocating to the United States in 2013, he began his real estate career joining BARNES Miami before being selected to launch and lead the firm’s New York office in 2018. Most recently, he served as Owner, Managing Director, and Broker of Record of BARNES New York, as well as BARNES Westchester and BARNES Connecticut. Covering a course of eight years as Principal and Broker of Record, Rousseau oversaw hundreds of residential and commercial transactions, with a strong focus on luxury properties and internationally based clients. Rousseau upholds the highest standards when servicing his clientele. He shares the same values as Christie’s International Real Estate Group; the belief is that clients within all price points deserve stellar service. Rousseau is known to sell properties ranging from a small co-operative in the West Village to grand Fifth Avenue condominiums, as well as single family townhouses on both the sell and buy side.

Originally from France, Rousseau grew up in Paris and now considers Bordeaux his home base abroad.
