Shawmut Design and Construction and multifamily developer Clearline Real Estate celebrated the topping off of 2000 Wynwood, a 12-story, 380,000-square-foot mixed-use development rising at 2000 North Miami Avenue in Wynwood.
The topping off marks the completion of vertical construction. The milestone on March celebrated the tradespeople on the project, notably JGR Construction, and was attended by Jenny Bernell, CEO of Clearline Real Estate; Shawmut head of Florida Alexis Leal and members of the project team.
Since breaking ground in August 2025, Shawmut-led construction teams have poured 22,000 cubic yards of concrete, laid 3,000,000 pounds of rebar, installed 367,000 pounds of post tension cables and placed 164,000 masonry blocks, reflecting the scale of the build.
The project will deliver 310 residential units, 12,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, 308 parking spaces and 141 bike racks to a walkable, transit-connected corridor known for its art, culture and nightlife.
“Reaching the topping off of 2000 Wynwood is an exciting moment for everyone involved in the project, most notably our trade partners, who have demonstrated their passion and commitment to delivering the highest quality product,” Leal said. “This milestone represents coordination, craftsmanship, and dedication that started during the design and preconstruction phases and carried through to construction execution — we are proud to continue contributing to Miami’s evolving skyline and the Wynwood community.”
Clearline partnered with Shawmut, design architect Arquitectonica, architecture firm Leo A Daly, Langan Engineering, Franyie Engineers Inc. and landscape architect Naturalficial to develop and bring the vision for 2000 Wynwood to life. The design prioritizes wellbeing, rightsizing, and energy efficiency, offering a modern approach to community living in one of Miami’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
2000 Wynwood is the second partnership between Shawmut and Clearline.
