Paragon Sports announced a series of in-store transformations and brand partnerships that underscore what it called “the company’s strategy as the definitive sports specialty retail authority of New York City.” The announcement coincides with the company being voted the No. 1 Sporting Goods Store in the United States by the USA Today Readers’ Choice Awards.
Founded in 1908, Paragon Sports has outlasted economic downturns, constantly shifting consumer trends and the rise of e-commerce giants. This wasn’t by accident, but by understanding one key thing better than anyone: New York City athletes.

The store has undergone a series of immersive build-outs with a curated assortment of merchandise. The Merrell build-out on the second floor features Paragon’s outdoor footwear assortment, technical apparel and camping and hiking equipment, curated specifically for the New York adventurer.
