Newmark Retail has arranged a long-term retail lease on behalf of ownership for Kujten, the Parisian cashmere fashion house, at 92 Greene Street in Manhattan’s SoHo. Executive Vice Chairman Ariel Schuster, Senior Managing Director Michael Paster and Associate Director Gabe Staub represented ownership, Acadia Realty Trust, in the transaction.
Kujten leased approximately 1,531 square feet on the ground floor and 1,036 square feet on the lower level, totaling more than 2,500 square feet. The store will serve as the brand’s second New York City location, following the opening of its Madison Avenue flagship in 2025, and is expected to open in fall 2026.
“Kujten is exactly the kind of brand that defines what SoHo is becoming — authentic, design-driven and globally recognized,” said Schuster. “Bringing them to 92 Greene Street is a testament to the continued strength of this corridor and highlights the trend of global brands wanting to work with quality owners like Acadia. We are proud to have secured a tenant that will add real energy and distinction to this block.”
