First American Data & Analytics Brings Datasets to ArcGIS

First American Data & Analytics, a provider of property intelligence, risk, valuation and data solutions and a division of First American Financial Corporation, announced that its property intelligence datasetsare now available within the ArcGIS ecosystem from Esri.

ArcGIS users can now access GIS-ready property intelligence — including nationwide parcel boundaries, ownership information, precise address points, sub address and unit address support, building footprints, sales and listings transaction intelligence, tax, valuation, land-use and market-activity data — delivered through web feature layers and other flexible delivery options.

“ArcGIS users are being asked to answer increasingly complex questions about property, land, infrastructure and market activity,” said Matt Key, vice president of property data at First American Data & Analytics. “Those decisions require more than parcel boundaries. They require trusted, current and connected property intelligence that reflects the real-world relationships between parcels, owners, buildings, addresses and transactions. By bringing First American Data & Analytics’ property data directly into ArcGIS, we are helping organizations turn GIS into a more complete decision-making environment.”

Organizations using ArcGIS to evaluate sites, plan infrastructure, manage land, assess risk or support investment decisions can now access authoritative property intelligence that is already normalized, connected and structured for GIS analysis. The GIS-ready property intelligence within ArcGIS connects parcels, addresses, structures, ownership and transaction activity through a common property identifier.

ArcGIS Property Intelligence is available through a modular suite of data offerings that enables organizations to build a trusted property foundation and extend it with specialized intelligence for site selection, land development, risk and underwriting and property operations.
