Goulston & Storrs announced that Brian Grindall has joined the firm’s Real Estate Group as a director in its Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, Grindall spent more than 16 years advising clients through a broad range of sophisticated and complex commercial real estate transactions. Earlier in his career, he served as general counsel to a national commercial real estate development company, bringing valuable firsthand business perspective to his practice.
Grindall advises real estate developers, owners, lenders, government agencies, construction companies, real estate investment trusts, landlords, asset managers and investors on the acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing and development of commercial real estate. His practice also includes advising on joint ventures, as well as financial workouts and the restructuring of distressed real estate assets. He represents clients across a broad range of asset classes, including retail, residential, condominium, data center, office, industrial, mixed-use and hospitality properties.

Grindall earned his M.S. in real estate from Johns Hopkins University, his J.D. from New England Law/Boston, and his B.A. from The College of Wooster.
