Buckingham Companies, an Indianapolis-based real estate investment firm has promoted Executive Vice President Kristie Arnst to chief administrative officer (CAO).
Arnst joined Buckingham in September of 2020 as senior vice president of property management. In March 2024, she was promoted to executive vice president, overseeing a broad portfolio that includes property management, asset management, business solutions, information technology, innovation, business development and human resources.
“In each of these roles, she has acted with consistency, accountability, and a genuine passion for the people around her,” said Buckingham Companies Founder and CEO Brad Chambers. “I have watched Kristie lead steadily through challenges and change. She builds trust across every level of the organization, communicates clearly, and holds herself and her teams to a high standard.”
As CAO, Arnst will continue her current areas of responsibility while taking on expanded organizational leadership duties. In this role, she will help advance Buckingham’s strategic priorities, including strengthening operational performance, enhancing customer service, diversifying revenue opportunities, and supporting long-term growth. She will also oversee the systems, processes, and people that drive the company’s operations, ensuring Buckingham’s culture and standards of accountability are reflected internally and externally.
Before joining Buckingham, Arnst served as president of Pepper Pike Capital, president of RessCo, and director of multifamily management at The Hayman Company, with additional career stops at McKinley Inc. and Levalon Properties.
