ApartmentIQ Announces 8M Customer Units and $25M Investment

ApartmentIQ, a real-time market intelligence, revenue management and artificial intelligence (AI) platform for the multifamily industry formerly known as Rentable, announced a $25 million follow-on investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity, an entrepreneur-focused growth equity firm. SGE previously led the company’s $22.5 million Series B financing in 2021.

The investment reflects ApartmentIQ’s transformation from a consumer rental marketplace into an integrated platform helping multifamily operators understand markets in real time, optimize revenue and automate operational workflows through AI, Today, the platform supports more than 1,500 portfolios, eight million customer units and 70% of the National Multifamily Housing Council Top 50.

ApartmentIQ’s core market survey platform delivers daily, unit-level pricing and availability intelligence derived entirely from publicly available data. The platform replaces the manual and time-intensive market survey workflows operators have historically relied on for competitive pricing intelligence.

Building on that foundation, ApartmentIQ recently launched two additional products. Explore Pro is a market intelligence platform used by operators, investors and developers to identify acquisition, development, redevelopment and competitive opportunities in real time. Daylight is an AI-powered revenue management platform trained on nearly six years of daily market data across 40 million units. Unlike traditional black-box pricing systems, Daylight is designed to be transparent, predictive, and grounded in how markets actually move.

Representing its first major step into agentic AI, ApartmentIQ also launched MavenAI, the Company’s AI-powered multifamily marketing agent. MavenAI automates workflows that multifamily teams have historically managed manually, including Google Business Profile updates, social publishing and listing management across fragmented marketing channels.

“When SGE first invested, we had a strong business helping people find apartments. Today, we’re building products that help multifamily operators see their markets in real time, make more predictive decisions, and automate more of the manual work required to compete,” said Alec Slocum, Co-Founder and CEO of ApartmentIQ.

The new capital will be used to expand ApartmentIQ’s platform, accelerate investment in MavenAI and additional AI-powered products and support continued hiring across engineering, data, product and go-to-market teams.

“Since our initial investment, Alec and his team have consistently translated product innovation into meaningful adoption across the multifamily industry as AI tools take hold,” said Josh Elser, Managing Director at Susquehanna Growth Equity. “The company’s expansion and effective utilization of AI to provide real-time market intelligence, revenue management, and marketing automation reflects a platform that is both broadening its capabilities and becoming increasingly critical for operators and owners.”
