Real New York (realnewyork.com,) a full-service real estate sales and marketing brokerage, co-founded in 2013 by Robert Rahmanian and Louis Adler, has welcomed four key new hires to its expanding management team.
Sarine Atamian will be taking on the role of chief operating officer at Real New York responsible for the company’s operations, strategic initiatives, organizational performance and long-term growth. She is focused on building scalable systems, strengthening compliance, developing talent and creating the operational infrastructure needed to support the firm’s continued expansion.
Atamian comes to the brokerage with two decades of residential real estate experience. Prior to coming to Real New York, she served as the VP of operations and marketing broker at Engel & Volkers. Before that she held leadership positions at Christie’s International Real Estate, where she played a key role in building and launching the brand’s first company-owned brokerage. Earlier in her career she served in a leadership role at Warburg Realty, assisting to streamline operations.
With over 23 years of luxury real estate experience, Mark Greenley comes to Real New York to be director of on-site leasing. In this role he’ll be responsible for the new development onsite leasing teams and daily operations. Along with the leadership team, he drives strategic planning for new development clients, oversees organizational and onsite team performance, and builds the long-term relationships that fuel the firm’s growth in this space.
He has been an onsite sales or leasing manager for several developers on many high-profile buildings like 77 Greenwich, American Copper Buildings, 222 West 80th St., Silver Towers, 70 Charlton, J-condo, just to name a few.
He was awarded the Guarantors 2024 Leasing Legends award for outstanding service on multiple new development projects.
Amanda Werner brings five years of real estate experience to Real New York, with the last three focused squarely on New York City new development. Before joining Real New York, she managed new development operations at The Masters Division at Nest Seekers International, where she supported a portfolio of more than 25 buildings and over $315 million in sellout value across Manhattan and Brooklyn, guiding projects through every phase from pre-launch strategy and pricing through closing.
As New Development Leasing Account Manager at REAL, Amanda supports new development residential projects from early planning through construction, launch and lease-up, partnering closely with developers, marketing teams and agents to run the back-end operations that keep every project on track, from launches, inventory and pricing to transaction status and reporting.
She studied Business Management with a minor in Professional Selling and Sales Management at the University of Delaware, where she graduated a full year early, eager to start her career in New York City real estate.
Ty Pauley joined Real New York’s new development team as the division’s first intern and was later brought on full-time. In this role, he works across development advisory, market analysis, financial modeling and leasing for residential projects throughout New York City’s boroughs.
Prior to joining Real New York, Ty gained experience across investment banking and residential real estate through internships with Douglas Elliman, AGC Partners and BNE Real Estate Group.
Ty graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with honors, earning dual degrees in Finance, Investment and Banking, and Real Estate and Urban Land Economics.
“Real New York is establishing itself as the go-to name in conversions and new development, and these four hires reflect just how quickly that division is growing,” said Louis Adler, co-founder, Real New York. “Sarine brings the leadership depth our management team needs at this stage of our growth, Mark and Amanda strengthen the operational core of our new development pipeline and Ty’s path from our first intern to a full-time hire speaks to the caliber of talent we’re building around. We’re proud to welcome all four to Real New York and there’s a lot more growth ahead,” added Robert Rahmanian, co-founder, Real New York.
All the new hires agree, saying they came to Real New York because at a time when consolidation has become the prevailing trend in the real estate industry, the brokerage has carved its own path.
“I joined Real because it is a firm that has been establishing itself as a leader in the new development and leasing space,” explained Atamian. “The company has built an impressive pipeline of opportunities and a clear vision for the future and I am excited by the opportunity to help build the operational infrastructure that will support its continued growth while empowering our agents and employees to succeed.”
Greeley concurred, “Because my background is in new development and I saw Real building exactly the kind of platform that my expertise could help grow, I knew it was a perfect fit. Joining felt less like stepping into a role and more like a true partnership.”
Similarly, Werner agreed. “I wanted a place where I could take real ownership and work directly with developers and teams, but just as much, I wanted to be in an amazing environment surrounded by genuine, talented people who actually care. Real gives me both and I get to grow right alongside the company.”
“What drew me to Real was the exposure to so many different projects, each with its own challenges and objectives to work through,” said Pauley. “Every deal is a chance to think differently about how to help owners and developers reach their goals, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing with the team.”
