CBRE announced that it has completed three office leases totaling approximately 30,000 square feet at 575 Madison Avenue, bolstering the prolonged momentum at the building with over 130,000 square feet of new leases executed over the past 18 months.

Malayan Banking Berhad, Malaysia’s largest financial institution, will relocate its longtime offices from 400 Park Avenue and establish its new New York City headquarters on the entire 24th floor, while Park 55 Associates, a concierge medicine practice led by Dr. Wendy Ziecheck and Dr. Christopher Barley, along with another concierge health clinic, will relocate to parts of the 15th floor and 10th floor, respectively.

The CBRE team of David Hollander, Gregg Rothkin, Brad Auerbach, Maxwell Tarter and William Hooks are leading the leasing and marketing efforts for the property and represented the building ownership, Steinberg & Pokoik Management, in the lease negotiations.

“575 Madison Avenue attracts leading financial services and professional services tenants seeking a prestigious address and exceptional building amenities. These latest transactions underscore the demand for high-quality office space in a premier Midtown location,” said Rothkin.

In conjunction with the robust activity on the office front, ownership recently executed a lease with luxury brand Smythson of Bond Street, which will join a prominent roster of luxury retailers at the building, including Breitling, Tumi, Oliver Peoples and Rains.

The owner-occupied property features a renovated lobby and retail space, upgraded elevator cabs, and a parking garage. 575 Madison also boasts a penthouse amenity center on the 26th floor featuring a conference center, lounge area and an expansive terrace.
