Forbes Global Properties, an international network of invitation-only real estate brokerages, announced the addition of Slovakia | Forbes Global Properties as its exclusive member in the country.

Previously operating as Dr. Real s.r.o., the firm brings established experience serving clients in a market defined by its unique combination of urban development, alpine destinations and investment opportunities.

From Bratislava’s evolving skyline and reimagined Danube riverfront to the striking Tatra Mountains, Slovakia offers a varied range of residential markets. Reflecting this landscape, Slovakia | Forbes Global Properties’ portfolio spans prime city residences, iconic castles and mountain chalets across the country. Sought out by local and international clients and investors alike, the firm’s team of real estate professionals provides tailored advice, deep market insight and discreet guidance to help buyers and sellers throughout the transaction process.

“I am delighted to welcome Slovakia | Forbes Global Properties,” said Michael Jalbert, CEO of Forbes Global Properties. “Slovakia is an exciting market, with the vibrancy of its historic capital and the beauty of the Tatra Mountains offering something quite different for buyers. We’re excited to have the team representing the country and look forward to helping connect buyers and sellers with opportunities in this distinctive market.”

The firm’s membership in Forbes Global Properties reflects the vision of its Managing Director—Marko Nemcsics. A former diplomat with Slovakia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its embassy in London, Marko went on to work with European institutions, including the European Court of Auditors, before moving into the private sector to advise international investors seeking opportunities in Slovakia. In 2021, as property became a cornerstone of his clients’ investment strategies in Central Europe, he took the helm of Dr. Real s.r.o., the brokerage founded nearly 25 years ago by his father, Robert Nemcsics, who held numerous senior management positions in both the public and private sectors.

Over the years, Dr. Real has acted primarily as consultant and broker, taking part in many major real estate projects across Slovakia alongside leading domestic and international development and investment groups. The firm later expanded into the Czech Republic and, through Forbes Global Properties, is now establishing itself on the international stage.

“Our work has always involved connecting people and opportunities across borders, and this feels like a natural step in the growth of our business,” said Marko Nemcsics, managing director of Slovakia | Forbes Global Properties. “Joining Forbes Global Properties allows us to build on our local expertise and high standards of service while showcasing our properties to a worldwide audience.”

The exclusive worldwide residential real estate partner of Forbes, Forbes Global Properties provides branding and marketing services to the world’s premier real estate firms and is represented by real estate agents across 39 countries and more than 600 locations. Through the network, Slovakia | Forbes Global Properties will benefit from access to Forbes’ engaged audience of more than 167 million, helping connect international buyers and investors with opportunities in Slovakia.

Homes are presented across the print, digital and social media channels of Forbes and Forbes Global Properties, alongside expert commentary, timely market data and editorial coverage. The firm’s residential listings will also be showcased on forbesglobalproperties.com, a curated collection of high-value, quality home listings.
