Indus Capital Partners has signed a 7,800-square-foot lease at 545 Madison, Marx Realty’s Baccarat-branded, hospitality-focused office tower in Manhattan’s Plaza District.
Indus Capital Partners, a global investment firm specializing in Asian equity markets, will occupy the 17th floor of the 18-story boutique office building, relocating from its current offices at 1700 Broadway. The asking rent was $145 per square foot.
“Indus Capital Partners is a welcome addition to the already exceptional tenant roster at 545 Madison Avenue,” said Craig Deitelzweig, president and CEO of Marx Realty. “The building continues to attract companies seeking a distinctive workplace experience that combines sophisticated design, exceptional amenities and a prime location. Our hospitality-inspired approach creates an environment that feels more like a luxury hotel or private club than a traditional office building, and that continues to resonate with tenants”
Cynthia Wasserberger and Carlee Palmer of JLL represented Indus Capital Partners in the transaction. Marx Realty was represented by Tara Stacom, Peter Trivelas, Harry Blair and Remy Leibersohn of Cushman & Wakefield.
Located in the heart of Manhattan’s Plaza District, 545 Madison Avenue offers Marx Realty’s first-of-its-kind office co-branding partnership with ultra-luxury French lifestyle and hospitality brand, Baccarat. The collaboration brings the luxury brand’s signature elegance to the building through thoughtfully curated details, including Baccarat chandeliers, fixtures and accessories, as well as its signature scent.
The amenity space features a café, floor-to-ceiling fireplace, a variety of comfortable seating areas and a landscaped outdoor terrace, offering tenants and their guests a sophisticated setting to gather, work and unwind.
