Digital quality control and testing firm Applause has signed for its first location in New York City, taking 17,500 square feet at 355 Lexington Ave, announced building owner/manager Rudin. The company will occupy the entire seventh floor of the 270,000 square-foot tower and plans to move in this month.
Founded in 2007 by Doron Reuveni, the Framingham, Massachusetts-based company is provides brands with real, timely real-world feedback on their digital assets. Ford, Google, Western Union, Dow Jones and thousands of other brands rely on Applause as a best practice.
“We are excited to welcome Applause to both New York City and 355 Lexington Avenue,” said Michael Rudin, executive vice president at Rudin. “We are confident that Applause will thrive among New York’s burgeoning ecosystem of technology focused companies, and benefit from the building’s prime Midtown location.”
Applause was represented by Chris Foerch of Savills. Robert Steinman, senior vice president at Rudin, represented building ownership in the transaction.
Built in 1959 by the Rudin Family, 355 Lexington Avenue was designed by Emery Roth & Sons.
