Commercial real estate tech platform VTS has promoted Sachin Shah to chief customer officer, the first time VTS has appointed a CCO as part of the executive leadership team. The announcement comes as VTS has made a number of recent major investments, including the launch of VTS Activate in May, the company’s new tenant experience platform.
Shah, a customer success executive with 25 years of experience, has a proven track record for delivering enterprise software and services for on-prem, SaaS and hybrid solutions for both mature and emerging software companies. Shah, who has been with VTS since January 2022, previously served as senior vice president of customer success. Prior to joining VTS, Shah served as senior vice president of customer success and support at Medidata Solutions, a New York-based life sciences technology company. Previously, Shah spent 18 years at IBM. Throughout his career, Shah’s roles have spanned product management, engineering, professional services, sales, support and customer success.
In his new role at VTS, he is leading Customer Success, which includes onboarding, implementation, advisory, support, as well as training – and will be responsible for enhancing client satisfaction and performance with the VTS Platform and creating a repeatable system to improve value, adoption and portfolio outcomes for clients. Additionally, Shah is focused on unlocking more client value by building professional services applicable across the client’s journey and all VTS products.
“In his time at VTS, Sachin has proven to be a highly valuable asset to our customers by partnering with them to drive the most value from the VTS Platform and ensuring they have a best-in-class experience,” said Nick Romito, CEO of VTS. “With his extensive software, service, and technology background, as well as experience collaborating across organization teams, Sachin will be instrumental in continuing to nurture VTS’ growth while ensuring the company is best positioned to serve the needs of our customers.”
