Forget about visiting a design center to choose the outfittings for a new home. Miami-based design and development firm LD&D has launched InteriorSelect, a home design configurator that allows buyers to virtually step into their future home and select the finishings with the click of a button.
The personalization program is being introduced at Aria Reserve in Miami, opening in 2025.
Available only for new developments, InteriorSelect’s platform empowers buyers to personalize their future residence, revolutionizing creative control that is inputted directly to LD&D’s design team in real-time. From wall treatments, bathroom mirrors and solar shades, buyers can choose — and change their minds about — designs and fixtures. They can save multiple versions, return and revise them before finalizing their design and price for LD&D to create. Designers will also be available to further accommodate any specific requests beyond the program’s selections.

Created in partnership with Tecma Solutions, a digital real estate business platform, the interface lets residents easily visualize their future living spaces, ensuring every detail meets their preferences, budget and aesthetic taste. Conducted through an online portal, homeowners have access to a virtual 3D portal of their exact floorplan, where they can select from an assortment of different options per category, including lighting, flooring, wall color, windows, closets and more, from base options to premium fixtures. The configurator’s options encompass a vast breadth of luxurious textiles and calming colors, catering to varied lifestyles.
Additional upgrades available include AV packages and complete home automation options using Savant, kitchen cabinetry and countertops with backsplash and waterfall selections and various doors, from solid core wood to European melamine and custom closet sliding doors with invisible hinges and enhanced hardware.
