Century 21 Stores has signed a long-term, 68,000-square-foot lease at Roosevelt Field mall in Westbury, New York. The off-price retailer will relocate from its current Westbury location and open at the mall in spring 2021, replacing Bloomingdale’s Furniture, which will relocate to the newly renovated Bloomingdale’s store already on site.
The two-story, 68,000-square-foot location will include a wide range of offerings, including men’s, women’s and children’s apparel as well as footwear, outerwear, lingerie, accessories, home goods and beauty products. It will join Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Nordstrom and Dick’s Sporting Goods, and 250 specialty stores at the Simon Property Group mall, one of the most successful in the U.S.
The lease follows the test of the retailer’s experimental concept Century 21 Edition, which operated at the mall in 2018. RIPCO Vice Chairman and Principal Gene Spiegelman represented the retailer in the transaction.
