Law firm Emery Celli Brinckerhoff Abady Ward & Maazel LLP (ECBAWM) is growing its footprint at Rockefeller Center by nearly 40%. Currently located at 600 Fifth Ave., ECBAWM will move into a new space at 1 Rockefeller Plaza, enabling the firm to expand its primary office space from 16,000 square feet to 22,000 square feet.

Founded in 1998 in New York, ECBAWM is a boutique litigation firm that handles a diverse array of civil rights, commercial, criminal and ethics-related matters. The commercial litigation practice serves a broad range of clients including publicly traded corporations, individuals and small businesses. ECBAWM’s criminal practice represents individuals and entities in investigations, appeals and collateral proceedings in federal and state courts.

A 34-story Class-A office building, 1 Rockefeller Plaza is also home to the ZO Clubhouse, a signature amenity and multi-level lounge with interior and terrace seating surrounded by views of the city, available to those who work at Tishman Speyer properties as part of the ZO amenity platform. ZO also offers Global Access to high-end lounges, wellness services and exclusive experiences at Tishman Speyer properties around the world. At Rockefeller Center, ZO amenities also include Radio Park, a 24,000 square foot green space on the roof of Radio City Music Hall, access to attractions such as The Rink and The Beam and perks at retailers such as Catbird and Rough Trade, as well as dining options including NARO and Le Rock.

“Firms like ECWABM would be welcome anywhere in New York City, but they have already experienced firsthand that Rockefeller Center is the greatest place in New York to work,” said EB Kelly, head of Rockefeller Center and senior managing director at Tishman Speyer. “Coming to the office here means having the best of the city outside your door: the most exciting restaurants, the most enticing retailers, and the beauty and soul you can only find in the art and architecture. We’re proud the firm will enter its next phase at 1 Rockefeller Plaza, as they join the roster of those who have chosen to make the Center their home as they grow.”

In leasing the new space, ECBAWM was represented by Zev Holzman, Vice Chairman at Savills, along with Paul Revson of Emerald Realty. Tishman Speyer was represented in-house by Blythe Kinsler, Samantha Augarten, Joe Simon and Kate Walker.
