Yellow Goat Design, a creator of lighting, screen and sculptural art designs for over two decades, has named Sheridan Markham as a design associate. In this role, Markham will collaborate with clients and support project management to bring Yellow Goat Design’s signature custom designs to life.

Markham brings a fresh perspective to the team with a rich background in various creative disciplines in the arts and hospitality design. She previously worked with BDHM and Good, Rich, where she honed her design expertise. Prior to joining Yellow Goat Design, Markham contributed to numerous high-profile projects for major brands like IHG, Hyatt, Google, Union Square Hospitality and Royal Caribbean.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Florida State University and an MFA in interior design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she served as one of four Dean’s Associates, guiding future students in their creative endeavors. In her spare time, she is an adjunct professor at Florida State University, teaching 3D modeling and rendering, allowing her to give back to the university and mentor the next generation of designers.

“I joined Yellow Goat Design because it’s a dynamic, women-led team! I am proud to be a part of a team of women who each possess unique talents, distinct identities, and leadership perspectives, which help to propel the company forward in all aspects of the design world,” said Markham. “I also love that each member of the Yellow Goat Design U.S. team was an interior designer at some point, which I believe is extremely valuable when working closely alongside clients who are designers, architects, or tradespeople.”

Markham’s responsibilities include collaborating with Yellow Goat Design’s in-house design and production teams to facilitate conversations and manage projects from concept to approval. She will also aid in business development, meeting with the A&D community to showcase Yellow Goat Design’s distinct capabilities and how the company can make their design visions come to life in a project. With her background in interior design, Markham will also play a key role in bringing new design collections to market.

“We are thrilled to have Sheridan join the team,” said Nicola Casale, senior vice president at Yellow Goat Design. “Her experience, passion for design, and creativity make her a perfect fit for Yellow Goat Design. We look forward to seeing her impact on our company and building connections with new and existing clients.”
