Kings Plaza announced that it is welcoming six new retailers including Urban Planet, Coach, Applebee’s, PacSun, Little Tokyo and Miniso. The center is celebrating its 55th anniversary with several borough debuts, the company announced.
Urban Planet x Charlotte Russe launched its first New York store at Kings Plaza in August, with Miniso and Little Tokyo preparing to debut their first Brooklyn locations later this year with Coach and PacSun to open their first stores in the borough in 2026.
“Kings Plaza continues to attract top brands that recognize the strength of this market and the unique value of being part of Brooklyn’s only enclosed super-regional shopping center,” said Richard Madramuthu, vice president, leasing at Macerich, the center’s owner. “The arrival of these retailers not only expands the choices for our shoppers but also reinforces Kings Plaza’s role as both a premier retail destination and a vital gathering place for the Brooklyn community:
Kings Plaza is Brooklyn’s only enclosed super-regional shopping center, attracting 40,000 New York City bus passengers traveling to and from the center every weekday. As Kings Plaza marks its 55th anniversary, the center continues to celebrate its role as a community gathering place for generations of Brooklyn residents.
