The Moinian Group has signed a 10-year, 10,000-square-foot lease renewal with Berkshire Blanket & Home Co., a global brand known for its signature fabrics at 60 Madison Avenue in Midtown South, Manhattan.
The Moinian Group was represented in-house by Omar Sozkesen, vice president of commercial lease. Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. was represented by Gregg Cohen, principal, and Samuel Steinberg, senior advisor at Cresa.
“60 Madison Avenue remains an attractive destination for a diverse range of tenants seeking well-located, thoughtfully designed workspace,” said Sozkesen.
Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. has been at the building since 2014 and will continue its office operations on the 11th floor, reinforcing its longstanding presence in the building.
60 Madison Avenue offers a range of newly renovated and prebuilt spaces, including a 25,000-square-foot duplex penthouse equipped with an internal staircase and expansive new outdoor terrace overlooking Madison Square Park. New prebuilt spaces are currently being constructed on the south sides of the 10th and 11th floors (7,000 square feet and 8,000 square feet, respectively) with direct views of Madison Square Park, and the full fifth and seventh floors.
