Cornerstone Building Brands, a leading manufacturer of exterior building products in North America, announced that Michael Pulcanio has been appointed executive vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective immediately. In this role, Pulcanio will lead all human resources functions and drive talent strategy, organizational development and culture initiatives across the company.
“Michael brings extensive experience in human resources leadership and a proven track record in talent management and organizational excellence,” said Gunner Smith, chief executive officer of Cornerstone Building Brands. “His background in manufacturing and managing large and complex HR organizations, with a focus on driving strategic talent initiatives, makes him an excellent fit to lead our human resources function as we continue to transform our business.”
Pulcanio most recently served as executive vice president and chief human resources officer at CJ Schwan’s Co., where he led several HR initiatives, including key development and implementation of organizational capabilities, executive succession, long-term leadership talent development and changes to enhance team member experience.
Previously, he held the position of senior vice president of human resources at Tyson Foods. He was also a senior HR leader at Hillshire Brands, Aon and PepsiCo.
