Independent real estate firm Ripco Real Estate has appointed Jennifer Sofia Harrison as managing director. Based in the firm’s new Red Bank, New Jersey office, Harrison will focus on expanding Ripco’s landlord representation platform throughout Monmouth County and Central New Jersey, while leveraging her extensive retail, development and brokerage experience to support clients across the region.

“Jennifer brings a truly unique perspective to Ripco, having worked across nearly every aspect of commercial real estate throughout her career,” said Mark Kaplan, president of Ripco Real Estate. “Her experience representing landlords and tenants, managing development projects, overseeing corporate real estate portfolios and working directly with developers gives her an unmatched understanding of the full real estate lifecycle.”

Harrison returns to brokerage after spending several years working directly with developers on real estate projects, land acquisition and entitlement processes. Most recently, she served as a vice president at NAI DiLeo Bram, where she represented property owners and tenants in commercial sales, acquisitions and leasing transactions. She also provided site selection services for national retailers including Tim Hortons, Smoothie King, DBAT and LVIV Croissants, conducting market research, evaluating opportunities and negotiating letters of intent.

Prior to NAI DiLeo Bram, Harrison served as a senior leasing representative at Levin Management, where she managed retail leasing strategies for a portfolio of shopping centers, developed marketing plans, negotiated lease transactions and advised property owners on performance and growth opportunities. She previously served as division head of real estate for Middlesex County, New Jersey.

She also has worked with Cushman & Wakefield, Colliers International, Toys ‘R’ Us, Toll Brothers, Landmark Developers and CenterStar Property Group.

Harrison earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Montclair State University. Originally from Lyndhurst, New Jersey, she is now based in Sea Girt, New Jersey.
