Chicken Salad Chick, the fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announced the September 22 opening of its first restaurant in New York, expanding the brands footprint to 27 states.
The new restaurant is located in The Shops at Village Plaza at 5 Southside Drive in Clifton Park. Chicken Salad Chick is known for its dozen-plus variety of made-from-scratch chicken salad flavors, fresh sides, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and desserts. The new Clifton Park restaurant offers in-restaurant dining, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering options.
Chicken Salad Chick of Clifton Park is the first restaurant to open under a 25-unit franchise agreement bringing locations to the Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and the Upper Hudson Valley areas across New York. The agreement represents Chicken Salad Chick’s largest franchise development deal to date and is being spearheaded by an experienced, multi-unit fast casual restaurant group already operating several national restaurant brands in the Upstate New York market.

As part of pre-opening Friends & Family events in Clifton Park, the restaurant will be raising money for Captain Youth and Family Services, also known as Captain Community Human Services, which is a non-profit organization supporting individuals, families and seniors in Saratoga County and the surrounding Capital Region.
