Wynd, a New York City-based logistics company, has been acquired by David Sitt. Using proprietary technology, Wynd is a logistics solution that optimizes packing, shipping and same-day delivery operations for e-commerce brands and retailers in New York City.
Wynd’s dashboard integrates with all major e-commerce platforms and offers a fully featured application programming interface that allows brands to customize the shipping experience. The company’s customer experience specialists constantly communicate with retailers to increase delivery accuracy and ensure customer satisfaction. Wynd’s brand partners include The Frankie Shop, Leather Spa, Crown Affair, Maryam Nassir Zadeh and Wwake, among others.
The acquisition follows in the foray of Thor Equities, where David Sitt’s father Joe Sitt has recently expanded its global portfolio of last-mile and logistics facilities in leading e-commerce markets such as the U.S., Mexico and Southern Europe, the announcement said. Wynd plans to expand its reach through its current platform and add additional capabilities to its suite of services.
