Saint Laurent and Jacquard by Google have teamed up to create the Cit-e Backpack, a “smart” bag that can control music, drop pins, take pictures and more. The backpack is connected via a Jacquard tag to an app also powered by Google.
The company advertises that the Jacquard tag is “a tiny computer that connects to Jacquard app and translates your interactions into commands that Jacquard app can execute.” This technology is also incorporated into Jacquard “smarter textiles,” which the company claims can “understand your gestures” and communicate to your devices using “light and haptic feedback.”
