MMG Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to Byer California in its acquisition of KWDZ Manufacturing LLC. Byer California, led by Phil Byer, was founded in 1964 in San Francisco and has grown to become a major supplier of Misses, Junior, and Girls fashions in North America.
KWDZ was founded in 1982 by Vera Campbell and has since become a prominent source of girls’ tween fashion sportswear and dresses under its two flagship brands Knit Works and Beautees.
“MMG was very gratified to be able to represent Byer California in their first acquisition,” said Mary Ann Domuracki, a lead investment banker on the deal.
