Foot Solutions Inc., a footwear and custom orthotics retailer, announced its partnership with pickleball professional Ben Johns to create a custom orthotic engineered specifically for pickleball. This 3D printed custom orthotic has structural and material elements selected by Johns, combined with the proprietary process Foot Solutions uses to create custom orthotics—including an in-person foot and gait analysis, a digital scan of the feet, and an expert design specific to each customer.
John Prothro, CEO of Foot Solutions, said, “Ben Johns is the GOAT of pickleball, and he’s known for precision and excellence. Because Ben is also a material science engineer, he is the perfect partner to create a solution for pickleball players to stay comfortable and healthy on their feet.”
“I have been a regular user of Foot Solutions custom orthotics since I visited my local store a few years ago,” said Johns. “This new product is a result of several months of testing and revisions working alongside Foot Solutions experts. The result is a 3D printed custom orthotic designed to improve performance—especially balance and movement—and alleviate the pain, fatigue and injury associated with pickleball.”
Customers can be fitted for a Ben Johns custom orthotic in select Canada locations and all US-based Foot Solutions locations. Appointments are encouraged but not required.
