Vacation lifestyle brand Cupshe concluded its partnership with Otis College of Art and Design, celebrating a yearlong mentorship program culminating in the 2025 Otis Fashion Show. Spearheaded by Cupshe’s SVP of design, Doreen Brennan, and senior designer Christine Geiger, the initiative supported student swimwear designers from September 2024 through May 2025 with hands-on industry experience and creative collaboration.

This formal partnership followed years of individual mentorship by Brennan and marked a milestone in Cupshe’s commitment to fostering the next generation of talent. Over four dedicated mentorship sessions, Cupshe provided design direction, donated fabrics for student creations, supported photography and videography, and offered exclusive gift bags and custom Cupshe items. Throughout the academic year, the brand also collaborated with Otis on social content to spotlight the partnership and showcase student creativity.

“At Cupshe, we strongly believe in being leaders in trend-driven design,” said Brennan. “As a brand that appeals to a multigenerational audience, we see great value in equipping the next wave of designers with the tools and insight we’ve refined through our success. We’re equally inspired by the ingenuity of new voices. The Otis Fashion Show embodied this ethos guided by experience, powered by fresh ideas. A kaleidoscope of talent, skill and passion.”

The 2025 Otis Fashion Show, themed Kaleidoscope, highlighted each student’s vision, brought to life through handcrafted pieces using Cupshe-provided materials. Free from manufacturing constraints, students explored macramé, intricate beading, dramatic draping and statement coverups, resulting in standout, one-of-a-kind designs.

As a key moment of the evening, Cupshe honored one designer with the inaugural Cupshe Design Award, awarded to student Fatima Roman for her exceptional construction, forward-thinking design and alignment with Cupshe’s aesthetic. Following the award, Roman joined the Cupshe team as a design intern and supported the brand’s runway show at Miami Swim Week.
