Baffin has presented Mist, a new lightweight winter boot for women. The latest addition to the best-selling Ease Collection, Mist merges Baffin’s signature cold-weather protection and slip-resistant technology with a streamlined design. The ultimate blend of comfort and performance, Mist provides versatile protection suitable for both everyday journeys and exceptional adventures.
Mist introduces a new construction to the Ease Collection as the first style in the range to feature a lace closure. Its mid-height, breathable nylon shell helps protect against the elements, while a D-ring front lace fastening system provides secure comfort and a pull loop at the back makes entry easy. Equipped with Baffin’s fixed-fit multilayer inner boot system, Mist is insulated with proven technology, including Thermaplush next-to-foot wicking for warmth, form-fitting B-Tek foam lining for comfort, and lightweight, four-channel hollow-fiber B-Tek heat insulation for high-loft breathability across a broad range of temperatures.
At the foundation of Mist is Baffin’s comprehensive approach to winter traction and comfort. IceBite provides greater slip resistance on ice than conventional rubber, while Polar Rubber at the heel and forefoot maximizes grip and durability. The LiteGrip and proven Hex-Flex outsole designs add lightweight cushioning, grip and slip resistance, while a reinforced Hex toecap provides additional abrasion resistance. A removable anti-fatigue insole provides added comfort for extended wear.
