Garmin announced Marq—the third generation, a collection of six luxury, modern tool watches purpose-built to support a wide range of passions. Crafted from premium materials designed to perform on land, at sea and in the air, the MarqAdventurer, Marq Athlete, Marq Aviator, Marq Commander, Marq Diver and Marq Golfer boast bezels, straps and bracelets that are unique to each watch, along with an exclusive and customizable watch face collection. New navigation features, including worldwide preloaded mapping and address search, help simplify travel while embedded inReach connectivity makes it easier to communicate on the go. And with a built-in speaker and mic, LED flashlight, everyday health and wellness features and more, users have what they need right on their wrist.

Each piece in the Marq collection offers an exclusive experience with custom watch straps and bracelets, ceramic bezels with unique inlaid designs and customizable watch faces inspired by much-loved timepieces, including the World Timer, Panda, Flieger and more. Constructed from tough Grade-5 titanium and a strong sapphire lens, the watches are durable while staying lightweight. And with the largest display size yet on a Marq, the 1.4-inch borderless Active-Matrix Organic LED screen offers a clearer view of essential data and details.

- Worldwide preloaded mapping: Ready for adventure right out of the box, preloaded TopoActive maps make it easier to discover new places and navigate to specific addresses anywhere in the world.
- inReach connectivity: Stay connected while on-the-go without a phone. When connected to LTE, make calls right from the watch and allow loved ones to see a live location in the Garmin Messenger app with the new Garmin Locate feature. Exchange text and voice messages and get weather forecasts through satellite or LTE. And if an emergency should happen, trigger an SOS message to get help from the 24/7-staffed Garmin Response℠ coordination center.
- Speaker and mic: Control the watch with voice commands, use a connected phone’s virtual assistant to respond to text messages2 and more with the built-in speaker and microphone.
- Integrated flashlight: Keep the adventure or activity going even in low light conditions with the brilliant, built-in LED flashlight with advanced microlensing optics that provides a smooth, uniform illumination.
Health and wellness at a glance
Third-generation Marq watches help users stay on top of their health and wellness with the addition of features like the ECG app, which analyzes heart rhythm recordings to detect signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib.) Along with stress, sleep, Pulse Ox, Heart rate variability and other insights, users can also get a custom morning report that shows how well they recovered overnight, plus an evening report that lays out how much sleep they need and details about tomorrow’s workout, weather and events.
