Children’s apparel brand Hanna Andersson announced a second limited-edition collaboration with Dusen Dusen. Where the debut collection was built around Dusen Dusen’s bold stripes, this season is all about the dot. Graphic polka dots run throughout the designs, alongside familiar Dusen Dusen motifs like the brand’s iconic “Everybody Face” and “Cloud,” both recognizable from some of its best-selling home and apparel designs. Each piece pairs that distinctive approach to color, scale and pattern with the comfort and quality families count on from Hanna Andersson.
“At Hanna, we’ve always embraced bold color and playful prints, so there’s a natural connection with Dusen Dusen,” shared Kara Carter, chief product officer at Hanna Andersson. “Their use of color and pattern brings such a fresh, joyful perspective to our collections. Our first collaboration featured stripes, and we love how this next chapter evolves into polka dots. We’ve brought Dusen Dusen’s design point of view to some of our most beloved Hanna styles, from pajamas to sweatshirts and jackets. The collection celebrates the best of both brands, combining Dusen Dusen’s unmistakable aesthetic and Hanna’s commitment to quality, comfort and designing with kids at the center of everything we do.”
The collection arrives just in time for cozy season, with pieces made for sleeping, lounging, layering and everyday wear. Highlights include women’s polka dot poplin pajama sets (in shorts and pants), kids’ polka dot long johns, socks for the whole family, sweatshirts for adults and kids, a baby sweatsuit and kids’ jackets. The full collection is available at Hanna Andersson, with a selection of styles also available through Dusen Dusen.
“Last year’s collection was such a fun opportunity to bring the Dusen Dusen world into a brand I’ve loved for a long time,” said Ellen Van Dusen, founder of Dusen Dusen. “For the second collection, we wanted to keep that same sense of play but explore a different visual language. Last year was really about stripes, and this year is all about dots. I was pregnant with my second son while we were working on it, so I was thinking a lot about clothes that feel joyful and special but that kids can actually live in. Now, having two boys who basically live in Hanna Andersson makes the collaboration feel even more personal”
