Field of Study by Pacsun, the brand’s elevated men’s label, introduced its latest collection, “Forever, California.” Set in Forever, a fictional California destination shaped by the spirit of the West Coast, the collection captures the ease of California dressing with an elevated finish and reflects a growing shift toward quality-driven, more intentional wardrobes built on fewer, better pieces.
Priced between $45 and $85, the 15-piece assortment is built from premium materials, including linen, nylon, silk and mohair blends, and reinterprets classic men’s silhouettes through a more refined lens, including French chore jackets, collar-less cardigans and reworked ringer tees. Signature details, from green-and-gold metal buttons to graphic techniques such as flocking, chainstitch and push-through printing, reinforce the collection’s emphasis on craftsmanship. A second drop will follow.
“Field of Study by Pacsun was created for a customer who’s evolving, someone who still connects to our California roots but is looking for more intention in how they dress,” said Richard Cox, chief merchandising officer at Pacsun. “We’re seeing a clear shift toward investing in fewer, better pieces—product with staying power, elevated fabrication and a distinct point of view. The Forever, California collection brings that to life in a way that still feels effortless and true to where we come from.”
At its core, Forever, California, represents both a place and a mindset. The collection draws from vintage and thrift-inspired graphics, authentic surf and skate culture, and iconic California references, from Pacific Coast Highway drives to neighborhood dive spots. The overall aesthetic leans into a sun-washed, lived-in feel that is both nostalgic and elevated.
