At the invitation of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Ilse Metchek, president of the
California Fashion Association, and Vincent Iocopella, vice president of Alba Wheels Up International, were featured speakers at a recent conference. The topic was “Global Trends in the Fashion Industry: Growth and Strategy.”
International consulates in attendance included Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Spain, South Africa, Thailand, the U.K. and Vietnam.
