Commercial real estate lender Dwight Capital has named Ryan Miles managing director-chief lean/healthcare underwriter. He will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Dwight healthcare team throughout the underwriting process, and manage aspects of credit approval, loan underwriting and closing for all healthcare loan products.
Prior to joining Dwight Capital, Miles was a managing director and chief credit officer for seniors housing and Healthcare at Lancaster Pollard, a financial services firm based in Columbus, Ohio, which is now part of the broader lending platform Lument.
Miles has over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry, including credit analysis, underwriting and valuation. He worked in the underwriting department of a low-income housing tax credit equity syndicator before joining Lancaster Pollard in 2006. Miles has also worked directly with agents at Fannie Mae, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Federal Housing Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He received his Bachelor of Science in business, with a focus in fnance, from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
