Residential solar panel installations company Vision Solar has named veteran energy industry executive Eduardo Llorente as chief operating officer.
Llorente is an internationally-experienced operations and business development energy executive in multiple forms of clean energy, (i.e. hybrid solar+storage greenfield projects in the New York Independent System Operator (ISO), ISO-New England and Pennsylvania/New Jersey/Maryland regions). Llorente carries expertise ranging from wind, solar, hydro and energy storage development, plant construction and finance. He also has experience in private equity funding to managing energy assets.
Previously, Llorente worked as the senior director in services and construction for Brookfield Renewable and the senior director of service operations, U.S.A. and Canada, at Siemens Gamesa. Before Siemens, he was the director of energy for Ence-Energía y Celulosa, an international, Spain-based company. Llorente carries with him 20-plus years of operations experience within a diversified space of renewables.
