Global construction and development firm Skanska USA, has named Kathleen Craven and Mia Walton to senior leadership roles for USA Building. Craven will serve as vice president, human resources and Walton as vice president, head of communications.
Based in Skanska’s Atlanta, Georgia office, Craven will be responsible for leading building operation’s overall HR strategy through talent management, workforce programs, recruitment and employee engagement.

Craven joins Skanska from the Sherwin-Williams Company, where she was vice president, human resources. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Florida University and a Master of Arts in human resources management from Rollins College.
Based in Skanska’s Rockville, Maryland office, Walton will be responsible for building operation’s communications strategy through executive and national communications, brand reputation, employee communications, public relations, and digital strategies.

Walton joins Skanska from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where she was vice president of communications and strategy. She has also served in senior leadership roles at Rolls-Royce, General Motors and The White House.
Walton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Yale University.
