253 Tompkins Announces Full Sellout

Corcoran New Development recently announced that 253 Tompkins, the boutique new development in Bed-Stuy, is 100% sold out.

Sales for the 10-residence building culminated in November 2021. The full floor Penthouse achieved the highest price ever for a 2 bedroom condo in Stuyvesant Heights when it sold last year at $1,250,000. Although surpassed in 2021, it remains the third most valuable sale to-date, having set a new standard for the neighborhood.

“253 Tompkins achieved prices we hadn’t seen before because it was a collaboration from start to finish,” says John Felicetti, Vice President of New Development at Corcoran. He continues, “The developer brought us on in 2018 and we worked with them from predevelopment to final closing, with representation from an incredible sales team.”

The Randy Baruh Team handled sales for Corcoran. Baruh adds, “life at 253 Tompkins puts you right at the center of one of Brooklyn’s most charming and popular destinations, and the beautiful property is a spectacular addition to the neighborhood.”

The property was particularly appealing due to its excellent room proportions, unique outdoor amenities and corner site directly on the park. Prices ranged from $599,000 to $1,250,000.

Designed by Issac & Stern, the prolific architectural firm whose practice draws from classic New York neighborhoods, and being ideally located on the park, 253 Tompkins is comprised of ten residences; one and two bedrooms, duplexes and a Penthouse, each designed with large windows, open plan kitchens and premium appliance packages. The building features a shared roof deck overlooking the park, a furnished first floor courtyard garden, an elevator and a welcoming lobby.
