Queens-based developer RockFarmer Properties announced that Lincoln Market, a regional grocery store offering online shopping and home delivery, fresh produce, prepared meals, gourmet foods and groceries, has signed a 20-year lease for 16,760 square feet at The Rowan, a recently completed 46-unit luxury condominium located at 21-31 31st Street in Astoria, Queens.
“We are excited to have Lincoln Market’s newest location at The Rowan to provide a convenient, quality and value-focused, fresh food market for everyday and specialty grocery items,” said Kostas Koutsothanasis, chief Ooperating officer of RockFarmer Properties. “With the recent closure of several grocery stores in the area, Lincoln Market will provide an incredible new option for local residents.”
The three-level space will become the brand’s sixth location in New York City and the market’s first location in Queens. The 16,750-square-foot space features 15-foot ceilings, 70 feet of street-level frontage and automated onsite parking for customers.
The market is expected to open early 2023. Ben Weiner and Chris Walther of Ripco Real Estate and Kostas Koutsothanasis co-represented RockFarmer Properties in the transaction on behalf of the developer; Scott Sher of Katz Retail represented the tenant.
