Construction firm Cauldwell Wingate has promoted Christopher Norris to the position of vice president of Commercial Construction. In this new role, Mr. Norris will lead the Commercial Construction Division for the firm, with market share spanning Interiors, Health Care, Life Sciences, Infrastructure, Amenities, Institutional, Retail and Adaptive Reuse. His responsibilities include client advocacy, team building, support and oversite, maintenance and expansion of operational excellence and overall project delivery.
Norris’ resume spans some 25 years’ worth of Commercial Construction work in the New York arena. Initially joining Cauldwell in 2000, he rose to a senior leadership role before leaving for other opportunities in 2009. In the years between then and his rejoining Cauldwell Wingate in January 2020, Norris served as an executive in a sub-contracting firm, as a consultant and as a business unit director in a mid-sized general contracting firm, also specializing in the commercial market.
“Although my time away from Cauldwell Wingate was as exciting as it was challenging, offering the opportunity to build fantastic projects from start to finish, grow teams, grow market share and yield a host of happy clients, I have been both personally and professionally thrilled to be back where I belong,” Norris said.
