Gather Labs, the first luxury high-complexity clinical laboratory improvement amendment (CLIA) lab in Los Angeles County, has opened a boutique clinic with a full-service lab on site at 218 S Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills. Tests are processed completely on-site by a science team after patients are greeted by an upbeat, knowledgeable team with fun music and a coconut water.
Founded in 2020, Gather Labs provides concierge quality COVID-19 testing of all patients, including asymptomatic patients who want to prove their negative status to work, travel or gather with friends and family. The company provides services to organizations and individuals at competitive prices with a focus on total wellbeing, it said. Patients receive diagnostic consultation, administration and results in a private, comfortable environment with an educated staff where questions can be answered safely and easily.
Gather Labs offers a Rapid PCR test with results in 30 minutes, a rapid antigen test with results in 10 minutes and custom concierge solutions. Additionally, Gather Labs can send a private nurse to a patients’ homes or offices for their preferred diagnostic sample collection, processing and after-care, or customize a solution for a production, cocktail party, baby shower, live event, workforce or small business.
Our on-location medical staff can advise patients who test positive and write prescriptions for treatment. Gather Labs does not accept health insurance, however, will provide a receipt to customers to turn in to their insurance company for reimbursement.
Co-founded by Rachael McCrary, who also created the post-surgical compression bra (RxBra), Gather Labs is one of the few woman-owned CLIA labs in the United States. Through the development of RxBra and her connections in Asia, McCrary began supplying PPE and COVID-19 tests for local plastic surgeons, which led to COVID-19 testing for local businesses.
