The Rise in Biophilic Design Across Los Angeles and Internationally

As Los Angeles gears up for The Star, a proposed $1B “spiral tower that bursts at its curvaceous seams with vibrant plumes of foliage,” resorts and residences worldwide have already showcased the best of biophilic design.

Gardenhouse is home to one of the US’s largest fully landscaped and growing green walls. This statement design feature by MAD Architects on the exterior of the residences was inspired by the tall, green hedges which separate Beverly Hills’ most exclusive homes from the public eye. Known as one of the most exclusive, high-end rentals in Southern California (currently leasing for up to $33k/month), MAD ensured to blend nature with the urban luxury of Beverly Hills in a sophisticated, eye-catching way.
