Rhone, a performance-led lifestyle brand, has leased over 40,000 square feet, including the top two floors, at 300 Atlantic Street in Stamford, Connecticut, the company jointly announced with building owner RFR. The transaction accommodates Rhone’s continuing growth of its established national brand presence, with more than 150 employees expected to occupy the new headquarters space.
Founded locally in Fairfield County by brothers Nate and Ben Checketts in 2014, Rhone continues to expand its business centered on personal progress and mental fitness.
“RFR is an established operator, and their vision for 300 Atlantic resonated with us from our very first meeting,” said Matthew Wallace, chief operating officer, Rhone. “The offerings at the building align with our brand’s ethos and will allow us to provide an excellent environment and daily experience to support attracting and retaining top talent. We look forward to moving in next summer.”
RFR is completing a thorough modernization of the property with over 10,000 square feet of amenity spaces to create an elevated workplace experience. The ground floor will offer a new high-end boutique café operated and curated by Dartcor Hospitality.Additionally, a brand-new fitness center designed in collaboration with Core Health & Fitness will feature the latest cardio, strength and recovery equipment and technology. The second-floor lounge and conferencing center will include new collaboration areas to accommodate events and meetings at any scale from 15 to 100+ attendees.
Exterior improvements incorporate a new streetscape design, seating and lighting to transform the arrival experience. Landscaping enhancements will allow employees and visitors to enjoy new outdoor areas that can support wellness initiatives and other community events.
