3Phase Elevator, an Canton, Massachusetts-based independent elevator and escalator services provider, and Advanced Elevator, a company that provides similar services in Washington, D.C., Maryland and surrounding areas, announced that the two companies have merged. The combined company adds to 3Phase’s geographic expansion and allows Advanced to leverage 3Phase’s key digital capabilities and automation.
Advanced Elevator focuses on full maintenance service of elevators and provides repair and modernization service to its customers. Stanley Smentkowski Sr. founded the company more than 20 years ago; he will continue to lead Advanced with his son, Stanley Smentkowski Jr., both of whom will be owners in the combined company. The rest of the Advanced team will also remain in place and the company will continue to service customers in its existing markets under the Advanced Elevator brand.
“When we first met with Mike and the 3Phase team, we knew they were the right partners for Advanced, our customers, our employees and my family,” said Smentkowski Sr. “We are excited to merge with a like-minded independent operator with the goal of bringing a high level of customer service and responsiveness to customers nationally.”
“Advanced will benefit from 3Phase’s digital capabilities, allowing us to automate process workflows,” said Smentkowski Jr. “This will free us up to spend more time with our customers.”
“Advanced has a great reputation and is well positioned to continue to service its customers and accelerate growth, said Mike Strachan, CEO of 3Phase Elevator. “We are honored that Stanley and his family chose 3Phase as its partner.”
