Independent retail brokerage Ripco Real Estate has named former SCG Retail Parter Jordan Cohn executive vice president.
“We’re honored to have Jordan join Ripco as he’s one of the most highly regarded and well-respected brokers in the industry,” said Mark Kaplan, principal and chief operating officer of Ripco. “Jordan’s track record and deep relationships speak for themselves, but he’s also a great person who will fit in seamlessly with the rest of our team. With his extensive knowledge and breadth of retail experience, we know we’ve made the right choice in bringing on Jordan as EVP.”
Previous to joining Ripco, Cohn had been with SCG Retail, the urban division of The Shopping Center Group, for nearly 20 years. His primary focus was on tenant representation and has closed deals for recognized brands such as REI, Chick-fil-A, The Home Depot, Bobby Flay, Charles Schwab, Crossroads Trading Company, Señor Frog’s and many other local and national retailers.
In addition to retail real estate work and accolades, Cohn has a career in the film industry and can be seen in The Wrestler, Big Fan and Cruise, all written by his brother in-law.
