What a New York night. Celebrities, nonprofit teams from the Drama League, Isaac’s Center and Open House New York, musicians, real estate industry elite, and guests attended Stan Ponte’s 50th finale birthday celebration on March 21st at the recently opened City Winery New York. More than 250 guests attended the festivities and flew in from all over the country, and the world, from New Delhi to Vancouver to celebrate with Stan Ponte, a top NYC real estate broker with Sotheby’s International Realty-East Side Manhattan Brokerage. Legendary Dionne Warwick took the stage and sang “That’s What Friends Are For” and “What The World Needs Now Is Love” while guests danced and sang along. Whoopi Goldberg also joined the event via Zoom and appeared on the big screen behind the stage to wish Stan a Happy Birthday.

American composer, arranger, vocalist, and jazz pianist Billy Stritch and band performed on stage as well as Molly Ryan and band throughout the night. Guests warmed up their vocal cords halfway through the evening and participated in a sing-along, led by Stan Ponte, to several songs, including “Copacabana” as they wore boas and watched dancers perform. American singer and actress KT Sullivan took to the stage toward the end of the evening to sing Happy Birthday to Stan as the cake was rolled out.

Also spotted at the event were several real estate power players, including developer Ken Horn and Joel Breitkopf of Alchemy Properties, Elizabeth Ann Stribling Kivlan of Compass and Marissa Ghesquiere of Sotheby’s International Realty as well as filmmaker Guillermo de Zamacona. It was a New York night to remember marking the return of the Big Apple!
