UAG Providing Construction Services to Hallets Point 20-30

Construction management firm Urban Atelier Group (UAG) announced that it is providing construction services for Halletts Point 20-30, an 800,000-square-foot, mixed-use waterfront development located on a former industrial yard in Queens, New York.

The development consists of two residential towers atop a shared parking foundation, an expansive esplanade, a park and retail at the base. Halletts 20-30 is the second phase of The Durst Organization’s Halletts Point Development, which includes an operating mixed-income rental building and a soon-to-open 162-unit 100% affordable building on the campus of the Astoria Houses.

“We are thrilled to be working with The Durst Organization on this iconic waterfront development in Astoria and honored to continue the partnership between our firms,” said Andy D’Amico, president of UAG. “Halletts Point 20-30 is an integral part of The Durst Organization’s overall vision for Queens, and this development will bring much-needed housing to New Yorkers.”

The once industrial peninsula in Astoria is being transformed into a modern, family-friendly, and mixed-use community with a rich history. Halletts Point 20-30 are the third and fourth buildings being developed as part of the seven-building Hallets Point complex led by The Durst Organization. Between both buildings, there will be 650 units, both market rate and affordable housing. Hallets Point 20-30 will bring housing, retail, and amenities to the local community.

Currently, the project is in the second phase construction, with a completion date slated for 2024.
