Accessible luxury timepiece brand Citizen Watch America (CWA)  will open the group’s first U.S.-based, multi-brand flagship at 605 Fifth Ave.

The new retail concept will present the full range of offerings across the group’s brands, including Citizen, Bulova, Accutron, Frederique Constant and Alpina. The opening of the flagship, scheduled for late fall 2023, will mark the first of its kind in North America where consumers can experience the company’s legacy in watchmaking while taking part in an immersive shopping experience.

“New York City is a cultural epicenter bringing together all citizens of the world, and the ideal backdrop for Citizen Watch America to introduce our first U.S. based, multi-brand flagship,” said Jeffrey Cohen, president of Citizen Watch America. “Celebrating the spirit of Citizen Watch’s DNA and expertise in horology while translating the company’s rich heritage through experiential retail, we are proud to bring our brands to life in a new way for all watch wearers of the world.”

The 7,000-square-foot, three-story space will have dedicated destinations for each brand. The first two floors will showcase CWA’s full range of timepiece offerings from Citizen, Bulova, Accutron, Frederique Constant and Alpina across sport, style and luxury collections in addition to timepieces that will be available exclusively at the flagship location. The third floor will include a museum archive and dedicated space for on-site programming, events and community activations.

CWA has tapped the architect Ken Park and his award-winning firm Kenneth Park Architects to lead the project. The New York-based firm is known for its unique approach to retail design and consumer experiences.
