Real estate private equity firm Madison International Realty announced the formal launch of a product line expansion focused on providing equity capital to dynamic, real estate investment management platforms seeking liquidity solutions and growth capital. Madison has a long history of providing liquidity solutions to real estate sponsors seeking to retain assets, grow portfolios and/or raise capital more efficiently.
The strategy seeks to combine the merits of property level investment returns with participations in sponsor level cash flows aiming to generate alpha returns for investors. Madison will provide a broad spectrum of liquidity options for established, middle market sponsors and utilize an asset heavy value attribution across its investments. To date, Madison has completed 14 investments of this nature in various existing funds, totaling $1.5 billion of invested equity. Additionally, the firm has secured a sizable anchor investment for this strategy and will seek to raise additional equity.
