The Corcoran Group recently announced that Sam Gaita, a top market expert, has joined the firm to lead a new Investment Sales Division based in Miami, Florida. Announcement of the move was made by Pamela Liebman, Corcoran’s President and CEO.
Bringing over an excess of $70M in open listings, Gaita is the firm’s new Global Investment Sales Advisor and will be affiliated with Corcoran’s Surfside office under Lily Zanardi, Senior Managing Director. Most recently he was the Director of Investment Sales for Douglas Elliman.
A New Jersey native, Gaita was born into real estate. His family’s involvement in the industry goes back three generations and as a child, he frequently visited development sites and rental properties. Gaita’s career began on Wall Street where he was an investment advisor for UBS. The discerning blend of real estate experience coupled with financial expertise enabled him to start Gaita Luxury Development and Property Management. His current investment client list includes top CEOs, real estate developers, and entertainment moguls.
Gaita will lead Corcoran’s Investment Sales Division, a complement to Miami’s Commercial Division, recently launched in 2022, and led by Cyril Bijaoui. Gaita’s focus will be on investment properties, condo-terminations, bulk property portfolios, multi-family/hotel acquisition, and short-term rental properties. Corcoran’s expansion into investment sales and commercial real estate will continue to bring the same level of service, expertise, and neighborhood fluency that the brand has long provided their residential clients.

In addition to representing out-of-state developers, investment fund managers, and high net-worth individuals, Gaita was recently the Vice Chair of the Florida Vacation Rental Managers Association and has been a featured expert on multiple real estate-related television shows including The Jet Set, Jet Set Homes, Travel in Style and The Luxury Travel Show.
