Norman’s Hallmark, the nation’s largest independent owner of Gold Crown Hallmark stores, has signed a lease to occupy 7,280 square feet at The Metroplex shopping center in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. The 750,000-square-foot regional power center is located on Chemical Road at I-476 (the Blue Route).
The commitment marks the retailer’s return to this Montgomery County community; Norman’s previously operated a store at the nearby Plymouth Meeting Mall. The new retail shop at The Metroplex will be one of Norman’s “super store” locations, featuring an expansive selection of card and gift items in a modern and inviting shopping environment. An early fall opening is tentatively planned.
“Norman’s Hallmark has a large and loyal customer base in this area. We are thrilled to be back and look forward to serving shoppers in Plymouth Meeting and the surrounding communities with one of our larger, full-format stores,” said Howard Henschel, Norman’s president and chief executive officer.
Norman’s offers a complete line of Hallmark products, cards for every occasion and Keepsake Ornaments, along with a diverse merchandise selection for gift giving and the home that includes fashion apparel and accessories, books, stationery, games, home décor, specialty candy and gourmet foods.
With roots dating back over 80 years, Norman’s Hallmark currently operates more than 70 locations.
